A community benefit society working on local renewable energy and on helping people in the village cut their bills.

A campaign getting women and girls in and around East Grinstead into sport, and keeping them there, which is the harder half.

I work on the site, including the part that chooses which events get featured each week.

And the odd afternoon.
Beyond the ones above there is a steady trickle of smaller things. An hour on somebody’s Google listing, a poster, working out why the booking form on a village hall site stopped sending.
A lot of community organisations are run by people who are excellent at the actual thing and were never going to enjoy wrestling with a website. That gap is usually where I am useful, and it rarely takes long.
None of it is on a rate card. If you are local and something is not working, ask.
02 / Asking
If you run something local.
I keep room for this deliberately, so it is worth asking rather than assuming the answer is no. Village halls, charities, clubs, campaigns, anything constituted and not for profit.
What it usually looks like is a reduced rate rather than free, because something paid for tends to get used and something given away tends to sit there. Where there is genuinely no money, we work something out.
What I ask in return is that somebody at your end is willing to learn to update it. A community website that only I can change is a community website that dies the day I move away.
